KANNADAVE NAMMAMMA! BMTC BUS SHOWS WAY

For a government run BMTC bus can you imagine a self interest of four conductors investing Rs.25000 from the earnings to spruce up the bus to give a new look to it?

It has happened in the city run BMTC bus route No.401 K that plies from Yeshwanthpur to Kengeri. The red color Volvo bus bearing No. KA -57- F-746 is a bus one cannot miss to travel.

The interior and exterior on the glass is with laminated photos of Sri Venkateshwara, Ganapathi, freedom fighters Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Sing etc, religious leaders Vivekananda, Sri Shivakumara Swamiji, Sri Adhi chunchanagiri Swamiji Balagangadharanatha, Sri Veerendra Heggade Dharmasthala Dharmadikari, all Jnanapith award winners of Karnataka. Besides the names there are slogans and prominent among them is ‘KANNADAVE SATHYA’.

The best part of the bus is Dr Rajakumar, Dr Vishnuvardhana and Shanker Photo just behind the driver seat decked with flowers.

All the leaders and achievers laminated photos affixed has bouquet of artificial flowers is another redeeming feature of this bus. It was decorated for last November 1, Kannada Rajyotsava day and after two months everything looks intact and fine.

Four conductors of BMTC – Manjunath, Shekar, Revanasiddappa and Lankesh invested Rs.25000 from their savings and decorated this lovely looking city bus.
